SEATTLE (March 26, 2015) — RPI, providers of personalized print services for businesses around the world, today announced that it has been granted a continuation in part (CIP) to its patent for the company’s state-of-the-art technology used in the production system in its Seattle facility.
The patent now claims the company’s Universal Ordering System (UOS), which enables RPI to route customer orders to any of its production facilities or production partners. The system improves speed and efficiency in RPI’s production processes for customized print products as well as other methods of production.
This CIP extends the company’s original patent, which was issued in 2012.
